DILLON + SARA

This session was definitely one for the books. I will take all the pup sessions from now on! These two were full of chemistry and lots of love and their pups were quite the entertainment. We had original plans for a different spot however it was occupied so we changed it last minute to this one and it did not disappoint! The Columbia River Gorge never disappoints.

We found ourselves on a little pieces of rock covered beach all to ourselves.

So much joy and so much love.

FERRIS FAMILY

Family sessions are something close to my heart. To see the love between a mother and a child or the fire still lit up between a couple married for years - it’s inspiring. There is nothing like the bond of a family. Little Kian was all smiles and such a ham this entire session. He just turned six months and is changing so much in such little time.

I think that’s why I always try to express how important it is to capture all the in-between moments, especially in those beginning moments. Kids grow and these are memories we get to keep forever in our hearts.

The Ferris family was full of such love and dedication. It was an honor to capture their little family and to document a new milestone of Kian turning six months!

DYLAN + SIERRA

We not only captured a beautiful love but captured close friends. These two have been together for quite some time and if there is any two people that were “made for each other”, it’s these two.

The wind was something else this day. So gusty that it took me a solid twenty minutes to get the knots out of my hair (wear it in a ponytail ladies). However, it was so worth it.

We explored around Cape Kiwanda taking in the beautiful scenery around us and got there around low tide - which means access to some rock formations and cliff sides that you normally wouldn’t get to with the tide high.

We also climbed some dunes and found some hidden places that were quite breathtaking.

Not only did we explore we also got a few drinks at the Pelican Brewery right there on the beach (best thing ever).

This session was perfect despite the fact my main camera broke! Yes, literally broke. My shutter decided to give out mid session. Good thing I always carry a back up ;)

Can’t wait to see these two tie the knot in May in beautiful Kauai.

JUSTIN + JENNY

These two lovebirds helped us explore a little more of downtown Portland. My hubby and I usually find the most isolated and secluded hiking spots but have had yet to explore the closest big city near us in depth.

It was a blast trekking around Portland and being able to not only capture them but capture the city which they spend so much time in.

It’s usually a little awkward meeting someone for the first time and telling them to be “natural” yet Jenny + Justin did it with ease and we instantly felt like old friends.

We not only got to go to the iconic pier in Portland giving us a beautiful golden sun, we went to some groovy bars and had a few drinks together, getting to know each other.

It was not only a beautiful love to capture but we enjoyed our little adventure into downtown Portland.

IAN + JACKIE

These two love adventure, studying in coffee shops, and laughing, lot.

From the moment this session started, they were filled with laughter — which made for quite the easy capture of candids.

I seek after those couples that love without holding back, who find themselves lost in laughter, lost in love.

Their adventurous souls made for a session filled with not only forests but an urban backdrop that provided a taste of Portland. These two are both full time students and often go to random coffee shops in the Portland area to study. These two road trip to National Parks and hike through Oregon’s green forests, finding all the waterfalls.

They made this session easy. There is nothing like capturing love.
